      Verdict

      The nightcap is a trappy handicap and the narrow preference is for My Mirasol, over Our Kes and Pelham Crescent. The selection was a fair third behind Naughty Thoughts last time, form which has since been franked by Tom Dascombe's runner. He is a course and distance winner and his yard are in decent form so he should go well. Or Kes is well-weighted on his best form and he ran a fair race last time when third behind Jago. However, he has had plenty of chances of late off similar marks and he may need some respite from the handicapper before he is able to get his head in front. Pelham Crescent was fifth behind King's Ransom last time and although he goes well at the track and has won off a higher mark in the past, he has the worst of the draw and again he looks vulnerable. Tancredi hails from a yard in form but he is better over further and we will stick with My Mirasol who gets the pick.
