        Verdict

        Saffire Song scored over track and trip before following-up at Southwell. But she's been raised a further 8lb for her latest success while Nova Princesse hasn't figured in three subsequent starts since landing a double on the Polytrack last year. Both Ealain Aibrean and Under Approval have struggled in handicaps of late and it remains to be seen how Castorienta copes now handicapping after winning a maiden race at Lingfield. Top weight CRISIS AVERTED made a winning start over 6f here but could only manage third last time. Dropping down in class and trip today, Richard Fahey's colt looks to have an easier chance and gets the nod.
