In depth

Verdict

Bakersboy ran well for third over track and trip on his debut while Oceanline finished runner-up at Chelmsford last month. Emperor Spirit made a pleasing start when placed at Newcastle and can figure for the Gosden yard but KAHEALL makes more appeal. The latter finished less than a length behind the well regarded odds-on favourite El Drama when third at Doncaster on his introduction and that looks the strongest form on offer. Khatwah cost €190,000 as the first foal of a Listed winner and is a newcomer to note.
