Gold Souk beat Billy Roberts by only a head with Invincible Soldier further behind when scoring over track and trip. The first two are hard to separate and preference is for LIGHT UP OUR STARS. The latter won over a shorter distance at the same fixture here a fortnight ago with Ricksen back in third and remains on a winning mark despite a 4lb rise. The selection’s stablemate Gold Standard placed over 1m4f at Lingfield last time and makes more appeal than Like Sugar.
