It took Itsthursdayalready four attempts to win off his old mark so a 6lb penalty for his recent Southwell success doesn't bode well for his chances here. Almaty Express and Radiator Rooney still have it in them to run a big race and the less exposed Lily Wood won her maiden in fine style here last month and is another to consider. However, a chance is taken on SPIRIT OF DIXIE. She failed to show her running in a couple of starts on the Fibresand recently but went close over 5f here before that and a return to this surface should see Dandy Nicholls' filly in a better light.
