Verdict
Byres Road is upped in class off a higher mark after scoring at Lingfield while Sands Chorus was beaten in this grade last time having won over track and trip before that. There was little separating Ice Royal and Jack's Revenge when the former finished fourth at Chelmsford recently but MAGIC CITY (NAP) is preferred. He joined Mick Easterby last summer and has tumbled 19lb down the weights subsequently. Recent improved efforts suggest a return to winning ways is imminent and he gets the nod.
