Verdict
FAMOUS STAR (NAP) looks the one to beat having escaped a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race over track and trip. He’s upped a grade for this but has plenty of scope for further progress. Author's Dream won again over a longer trip at Southwell last month and is still improving while Nate The Great went close at Kempton last time having slipped back down to a winning mark and is preferred to King's Advice.
