Verdict
NATE THE GREAT won last year’s more competitive renewal. Andrew Balding’s charge missed out by only a neck back here last time and is preferred in this grade to Chipiron. The latter won a Class 4 contest over 1m6f here a fortnight ago while Zeeband landed the Northumberland Plate consolation race at Newcastle last summer but is 6lb higher. Military Two Step scored over 2m at Chester last year and debuts on the all-weather on her return.
