In depth

Verdict

SEASEARCH showed much more promise when upped to 1m4f at Lingfield last month and duly delivered when romping home at Southwell on his latest start. This is tougher but an apprentice’s allowance negates most of today’s penalty and he can go in again. Dubai Landmark finished closer at Chelmsford on his handicap debut and this longer trip may suit. He looks the main threat to the selection given the remainder have shown little to recommend them lately with Sunhill Lad perhaps coming out best.
