Verdict
Karen George's Bertie Southstreet has been in good form here of late, winning three of his last four starts and has solid claims of scoring again but GRUDGE has a nice pull in the weights for the two lengths that separated the pair in a claimer last month and can reverse that form with the main danger rated as Decider. The gelding has shown a reasonable level of form for Ron Harris of late and should be thereabouts at the finish again. Kevin Ryan's runners in this grade always warrant respect and Grimes Faith is no exception but he needs to improve on recent form to trouble the judge. Cheshire Rose ran better at Kempton last time in a handicap and could be of interest dropped to this grade, while Thunder Bay has similar claims but has not been in good form of late until an improved effort last time. Several of these have chances but Grudge has a good opportunity to reverse earlier form with Bertie Southstreet and gets the vote.
