In depth
Verdict
In a tricky handicap, recent winner No Time gets the nod ahead of Fizzlephut and City For Conquest. The selection's style of racing means that the handicapper may struggle to keep him in check, and this late finisher could still be well in despite his extra weight for his last victory. His trainer is in good form of late and No Time could go very close indeed. Fizzlephut is far more effective at this course than the other all-weather tracks, and a repeat of his win over course and distance in November would give him major claims, although he may struggle off his revised mark. Tim Pitt has his stable in good form, and his charge City For Conquest has the ability to win races of this nature, although again she could be in the grip of the handicapper. Of the rest, Maktavish looks a horse on the slide and so cannot be truly fancied, whilst Peter Grayson's Lady Bahia could go well if putting her best hoof forward. For the winner though, we return to the in-form No Time.
