        Genial Genie Will have improved on his first two recent outings and this looks a good opportunity for him to open his account today.

        Gingko Taking a big step down in class and should be around at the finish on the evidence of his staying on 6th in a decent Newmarket handicap in August.

        McQuillan Little worthwhile form but showed an improved effort last time - staying on at the finish here over 6f.

        Lady Fearless Poor hurdler and has not shown much on the flat either; not one to get excited about.

        Avery Ring Poorly drawn in similar race here last week and badly drawn again today; place possibilities at best.

        Parade (IRE) Decent 2nd on his debut here last month and should progress from that although the 3rd from that race has been soundly beaten since.

        Silk On Song (USA) Well beaten on only start so far; no real chance.

        Velvet Slipper Showed up well for a long way on her debut earlier this month; should improve for that and could be a major threat in a race that won't take much winning.
