        Verdict

        Rat Catcher won this last year and could go well again but Lizzy's Dream bids for a hat-trick under a penalty having only won a couple of lowly Class 7 contests. Pancake Day's recent second came in an amateurs’ race over 6f, though he finished ahead of Time Medicean, while Seraphima went close here a week ago attempting to win for only the second time in 30 attempts. COCKLE TOWN BOY was beaten only a length over track and trip last month when ahead of Charlie Lad and it could be his turn today having slipped 14lb down the weights in the last year.
