Verdict

A difficult race to unravel as most of the principals have been taking each other on in similar contests. Berlusca just got the better of Excellent Puck with Off The Pulse further behind over track and trip last time. The former had earlier been beaten by Modernism, who in turn finished behind Rakaan, when the latter was fifth at Lingfield last week. High Time Too was a length behind runner-up LEGENDARY at the same track last month and it's Ed Vaughan's charge that gets the vote in a tight contest as he tries this longer trip for this first time. Doldrums has shown little in handicaps so far and Fly Solo would prefer a greater test of stamina.
