Verdict

These amateurs' events can be trappy and caution is advised. Winning track form is frequently helpful though and KAMES PARK fits that particular bill and also arrives on the back of a battling Kempton success, whilst Serena Brotherton is certainly an ideal booking. He looks a solid shout, with other course winners, Bentley and William's Way, also likely to deliver a good account. An interesting challenger is Saloon and the Jane Chapple-Hyam charge could emerge as the prime threat. The Sadler's Wells gelding hasn't been seen for nearly a year but ran Trip The Light to a length at York on that occasion and a similar effort would see him right in the mix. Camps Bay and Resplendent Light are also noted.
