Verdict

Almaty Express has long been a standing dish around here, though whether John Weymes' veteran is still up to winning off a mark this high is debatable. Father Fred only won a seller at Brighton earlier this month but is lightly raced and further improvement isn't out of the question. Lord Buffhead never figured here on Thursday but probably isn't badly treated at present and makes more appeal than Rise To Glory. BIG STORM COMING was having just his fourth start when staying on strongly to score over course and distance last week. He looks more than capable of defying a penalty in this grade.
