Verdict

A good race that can go to TABARET with Fantasy Explorer and Bosun Breeze also respected. The handicapper has dropped the Whitaker inmate 2lb since his last run at Lingfield and with this track more conducive to his style of racing, he could sneak away early. Fantasy Explorer has been a credit to connections and cannot be faulted for his consistency. Bosun Breeze has a long absence to overcome though was emerging as a talented individual before then. David Barron is a past master of training sprinters and he could be ready first time back. Ivory Silk is much better on artificial surfaces than turf so do not be surprised by an improved effort. Gilt Edge Girl won't always run into such a well handicapped sort as she did at Pontefract last time out. Orpenindeed has run well here previously though confidence has been muted by a moderate draw. Tabaret secures our pick.
