    Verdict

Armourer finished closer at Lingfield last week and it would be no surprise if he improved past the more-exposed Power Up. The latter found one too good in a nursery here in October, but one of the newcomers wouldn't need to be anything special to come out best. Haleo and Grey Odyssey are out of prolific mares with the former related to several winners on the all-weather but L'AVENUE is a half-sister to a Listed winner in France and James Tate's filly is the one taken to make a winning debut.
