Verdict
Another Con, Mostakbel, and York Cliff look the ones for close consideration here and Another Con can lead them home. Tried over a variety of trips, Another Con's last win came over this course and distance and judged by recent efforts she would not be winning out of turn in a weak seller. She weakened last time over a longer trip and can be seen to much better effect over this mile and a half. Mostakbel has been trying his luck over hurdles recently but has been pulled up on his most recent starts. However, he ran well to be third, starting at 40-1 over a furlong shorter at Southwell last time. This extra furlong may suit and Mostakbel should not be discounted. York Cliff has not won for over a year but has shaped well in better races recently. Perhaps a bit unlucky when denied a clear run last time, York Cliff looks sure to hit the frame. Another Con though gets the vote.
