Verdict

Dickens finished last of only three runners at Newmarket having earlier won at Nottingham and is upped in trip. Johnny Boom won an amateurs' race at Pontefract last time while Silvestris drops back down in class and Mashkoorah may do better back on the Tapeta today. Rain Gauge won over track and trip back in April but Andrew Balding’s yard remains in fine form and FANTALOPE will likely improve on her novice form now handicapping and gets the vote with Oisin Murphy taking over the reins.
