In depth

Verdict

Don't Tell Claire has been thereabouts in decent handicaps including a second in the Kensington Palace at Ascot in June and is preferred to Bernadine who also placed at Ascot last month. But VEIL OF SHADOWS (NAP) has been rested since returning a beaten favourite in a Listed race at Goodwood in May and the novice winner is fancied to go close back down in trip for her handicap debut. Eximious faced a tougher task at Ascot last time and can also finish closer today.
