In depth

Verdict

Volcanic Jack still carries a penalty for his earlier win at Bath and was beaten at the same track last Saturday while Bengal Tiger also failed last time having won at Brighton on his penultimate start. Astroscarlet is 10lb higher than when scoring at Lingfield in June but Inniscastle Boy can race off the same mark today despite finishing runner-up over C&D on his latest start. The betting suggested WE USED TO WAIT was set to lose her maiden tag on the Turf at Lingfield last time when sent off favourite but her running was too bad to be true and she's given a chance to make amends in this.
