Verdict

A debut winner at Chelmsford, ANYCITY went close on a couple of subsequent starts before struggling on the Fibresand at Southwell last time. Rated 80, he should have the measure of these on today's terms and first-time blinkers may also bring further improvement. Axel Jacklin has won over 7f here and shares the same handicap rating as 6f winner Beryl The Petal while Peters Pudding is not far behind the latter at the weights and has placed here in the past. Warrior Display never figured in a claimer in France last time but may still prove best of the rest.
