In depth

Verdict

Giorgio Vasari came up short once again at Chelmsford and has returned a losing favourite on his last four starts now. But FAST STYLE made a winning debut for Mick Appleby’s yard when scoring at Newcastle on his first outing since last summer and there should be more to come from him this year. Crownthorpe drops down in class with a shout but both Calonne and Jenson Benson have something to prove off their current marks.
