    Verdict

Iced Diamond can follow up his course and distance victory at the expense of Dexileos, Riquewihr and Stellite to name but three. Mark Brisbourne was impressed by Shane Kelly's strength in the saddle when Iced Diamond was successful here nine days ago, and so it is no surprise that the Irishman is in the plate again here as the son of Petardia bids to shrug off a six-pound penalty. He is due to go up four pounds on Saturday and should make a bold bid to score again before then. Dexileos is not the easiest of rides and had to be given the full treatment by Chris Catlin to oblige here at the start of the year. He has a few pounds to find with the selection and is passed over. Riquewihr was fourth behind Iced Diamond when they met recently and is actually better off at the weights now, but he lacks a turn of foot and may again be held. Stellite has been consistent enough but his latest effort came in Banded company and he also has a high draw. Wednesday's Lingfield winner Ballygriffin Kid has not fared much better in box 11 and he is no better than Banded class despite his recent success, and for the winner we return to Iced Diamond.
