In depth
Verdict
Al Mortajaz was still beaten seven lengths when third at Epsom recently and a tongue-tie is applied for the first time. But BARASTI DANCER showed a big improvement at Musselburgh when upped to today’s distance and finishing runner-up to Wee Jim. The latter has subsequently won again so Karl Burke’s colt gets the nod on that form. Jungle Juice has now returned a losing favourite in both starts having disappointed at Wetherby and Pot Luck failed to show any progress at Chepstow on her latest outing. Pegasus Bridge and Shifting Gold are newcomers to note.
