Verdict

The lightly raced Thief makes a first appearance in handicaps and considering it is also a seasonal debut and there are question marks over the trip we will watch on this occasion. The adaptable Dunaskin is just as a adept over timber as on the flat and against this opposition he has to be considered but our preference is for STRAVERSJOY who is in good form, won here over course and distance last time and is progressing with each run. Extremely So is respected having won so comfortably at Yarmouth last time but she appears to favour the turf rather than Polytrack. Astronomical enjoys the trip but has disappointed in his two latest runs but Gearbox offers some appeal after taking second near the finish over a furlong less at Kempton.
