      MAQTAL won over 7f at Yarmouth last month and may well defy a penalty with more to come over this extra distance. He’s preferred to Ffos Las third Fashion Royalty and John Gosden’s Deverell, who disappointed at Chelmsford last time. Gosden also trains Maria Rosa, one of three Godolphin newcomers with the North American-bred costing $1.75 million as a yearling. In The Night looks first choice ahead of Poet's Mind of Charlie Appleby’s duo and both are preferred to Spirit Dancer.
