CHOOKIE ROYALE won a conditions race at Kempton last month but was successful off a similar mark in a handicap at Chelmsford earlier this year. He is just preferred to Seeking Magic, placed in this grade at Kempton on his latest start and racing off the same mark today. Basil Berry beat previous winner El Viento in a lower grade sprint here a fortnight ago while Ballista was well beaten in last year's renewal and Go Far remains 8lb higher than when winning the Ayr Bronze Cup in September. Spicy Jam may prove best of the rest on only her second start for Marco Botti.
