Zapper Cass may have won here in the past but is best at Southwell having recorded a double at the latter track this month. Pink Flamingo still looks a shade high in the weights but Boom The Groom finished runner-up over 6f at Lingfield last time, though both he and Foxy Forever were beaten by Dynamo Walt over track and trip earlier. It’s been a long time since the latter won back-to-back races and preference is for CANFORD BAY (NAP), who also finished behind Dynamo Walt last month but has subsequently gone close at Newcastle and re-opposes on more favourable terms.
