      Verdict

Queen Of Burgundy came good on just her second start for Michael Appleby and should be in the shake-up here off just a 1lb higher mark returning to the scene of her success just 11 days ago. Peruvian Summer shaped well on his latest outing and should be involved along with LOCAL BAY, a winner for David O'Meara and now making a first start for Tony Carroll. His latest effort when a sound third at Newcastle brings him bang into contention and he's a tentative choice in an open contest. Mythical Madness is well into the veteran stage nowadays but remains dangerous to rule out and Astroman is not without interest on his return from a fair hurdling spell.
