Verdict

TEMPLIER has been threatening to get his head in front and went close again at Chester last time. The winner has subsequently been narrowly beaten in a handicap so the form looks solid and he is preferred to Maestro Mac. The latter ran well at Ascot despite finishing only seventh and had earlier finished ahead of Godolphin's Technicolour at Lingfield. Godolphin are also represented by newcomer, Change The Game, a $550,000 purchase with an entry in the Racing Post Trophy while Palisade is a half-brother to the useful Windshear and is another debutant to note.
