Verdict
The first division of a moderate seller shouldn't take much winning and the vote goes to Mutabassir. Andrew Reid's charge is in to the veteran stage of his racing career but is still capable of a bold show at this level as he demonstrated when landing a claimer over this trip at Lingfield in December. The son of Soviet Star has put up two fair efforts in decent handicap company since and this genuine performer can defy his penalty. Moubt Royale has solid claims at the weights and comes here in top form after placed efforts in better company at Southwell of late but gives the impression that a slightly longer trip would prove ideal. Arc El Ciel takes a drop in grade but has been largely disappointing on recent evidence and is passed over on this occasion while Senor Miro is thrown in on his old turf form but has had his problems and is not the force of old.
