Verdict
Mujamead is selected ahead of Qasi and Slavonic Lake. Mel Brittain's runner had been on a long losing run but has been rejuvenated by a short break and made a winning return earlier this month on his first run since October. He came out just five days later to follow up with any amount in hand but is vulnerable over this longer trip. Mujamead finished a length and a half in front of Slavonic Lake over 2 miles at Kempton last time but looks sure to be suited by this shorter trip. He kicked for home around 5 out and was only just collared in the line but he won't be stopping over this trip. He has shown improved form over hurdles this winter and looks capable of converting that improvement back to the level. Slavonic Lake and Qasi should go well again but Mujamead is the call.
