In depth

Verdict

REGINA NOSTRA has been very green in her two runs to date. She finished behind Persian Prize at Chelmsford on debut but ran much better on Tapeta at Newcastle and can reverse form with Mike Appleby’s filly today over this extra furlong. Dalawyna showed some promise on Turf last season but Make Magic may need more time. Cyclades is a half-sister to three winners and looks the pick of the newcomers ahead of Stay In The Light, who is a half-sister to a winner on the all-weather but only cost 8,000gns. Unveiling won a novice auction event here in December but had her limitations exposed next time at Lingfield.
