    Verdict

A couple of these are clear at the weights. Poet's Pride found only a John Gosden-trained favourite too good at Southwell a week ago and should be bang there at the finish but a chance is taken on MR GENT. He was placed behind higher rated opposition than this last year and with a recent outing under his belt and a change of headgear, Ed Dunlop’s charge may prove good enough. Minuty looks next best on these terms and will appreciate the return to 6f but it’s difficult to make a serious case for any of the remainder with Go Sandy perhaps best of them.
