Verdict

Gallego is confidently selected ahead of Milk and Sultana and Hiawatha. Gallego was an easy winner of a non-banded race at the track over course-and-distance last week and connections believe that there could be more to come. Under these terms, he is effectively a winner without penalty and we will hope that he can make full use of a golden opportunity. Milk and Sultana landed a monster gamble at Wolverhampton in selling grade. A recent victory at Lingfield confirms her well-being. Hiawatha will swoop fast and late as is customary for Alex Hales' charge. He hasn't got there more often than not. Triple Jump is dropped in grade for the first time. Young Kate is no stranger to winning at this level as she has scored at both Lingfield and Wolverhampton in the past. Granary Girl was recently backed without success and is watched in the market again. Gallego will never get a better opportunity to "double up" than this and we shall stick with him here.
