        After a short spell in the doldrums, there are signs that Kevin Ryan's stable could end the year with a flourish and WELD AL KHAWANEEJ came good stepped up to this trip at Ayr. He goes up a grade for this but a 6lb rise may not be enough to prevent a follow-up. Hide Your Fires bids to add to her success last time in a maiden at Chelmsford but the runner-up failed to frank the form here last week. Musical Taste is probably worth opposing again and Stroke of Midnight and Buffalo Soldier appear to have gone off the boil. Komedy was best with give in the ground on Turf but Outrank shouldn't be ignored, despite a poor all-weather debut at Kempton last month.
