Corriolanus, Heathyards Pride and BRIDGEWATER BOYS are shortlisted in this weak opener and the vote is given to Bridgewater Boys. The selection is a course and distance winner and unlike most of his rivals he does bring some solid recent form to the table. He beat Torrens in a seller here last time out and he has won three of his last five races so he has a good recent strike-rate. George Baker won on him last time and he can steer him to victory again. Andrew Balding's Corriolanus looks the obvious danger as he is eased in grade, but all his all-weather wins have come at Lingfield so it will be interesting to see how he gets on tonight. Heathyards Pride was far from from disgraced here last time and the form has since been franked and he certainly looks capable of making his presence felt. However, Bridgewater Boys is in terrific form and he can continue his hot streak.
