Lomu took advantage of a tumble down the weights with a convincing three-length success over track and trip but is upped in class and raised 8lb. Acclaim The Nation also won a lower grade sprint at Chelmsford when beating Savalas only a head while Junius Brutus gave notice of a big run with a second at Kempton last time though that was over 6f. But CORINTHIA KNIGHT (NAP) was narrowly beaten at this level over course and distance in between modest efforts over further and Archie Watson’s sprinter is taken to confirm running with Royal Birth and go one better in this. Stake Acclaim looks high enough in the weights though is still preferred to El Hombre in this grade.
