Verdict
White Star Magic just gets the call here ahead of Cooleycall Star, I'm Aimee and, possibly, Tootsy. White Star Magic comes out the best of these on adjusted official ratings and might prove best in the race as well. He is proven here, and his run behind Man Crazy at Lingfield last time is form enough to put him in with a shout here. Much as Cooleycall Star was a half-length ahead of him that day, he is now five pounds worse off at the weights, although the pair are stepping up a furlong in trip today. Pregnant Pause looks held on that form. Another to consider is I'm Aimee, who has been knocking at the door at this level, while Tootsy caught the eye in a similar race last time on only her second run, so keep an eye on her, and the best of Songgaria's form gives her a chance, if she can transfer it to the all-weather. However, the vote goes to White Star Magic.
