RED FLUTE (NAP) returned a convincing winner over the minimum trip at Lingfield and can confirm superiority with the runner-up Frank The Barber despite the worse terms. Margot Rose and Supreme Belle finished further behind the top weight and Denis Quinn's charge can go in again. Toni's A Star was well ahead of Air Of York when scoring over track and trip in February but has been beaten off higher marks in a couple of subsequent starts.
