Elgin won the Grade 2 Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton earlier this year and debuts in this code. But he has to give plenty of weight to the three-year-olds at this time of year with GHOSTWATCH making most appeal of that age-group. The latter was placed over a mile at Newmarket and Haydock last year but has a middle-distance pedigree and is preferred to the other Godolphin runner in Returning Glory. The latter also showed promise when placed at Kempton in December but Urbino was beaten a long way when fourth at the same track on his debut.
