Rio Princess can land the opener with Home and Gower Belle rated as the main dangers. The selection was a little below-par at Sandown last time but she had previously looked like a certain future winner when fourth behind Little Big Boy at Newmarket. This step-up to 7f looks ideal for her and she can win again here. Home rates the main danger as he has shown enough on his three runs so far to make him of serious interest today. However, he did get revved up on his way to post last time and it is worth keeping a watch on him in the preliminaries before putting stakes down. Gower Belle ran well in defeat last time and this lightly-raced filly is another that should be seen to better effect over this extra furlong. What Katie Did has run well here in the past but he has been a bit disappointing of late. All of which returns us to Rio Princess as the one to beat.
