In depth
Verdict
Hieroglyph could be the answer to this tricky contest, with Counterclaim and Tucker's Town also considered. The selection was a fair second behind Swanky Lady at Warwick last time, and she had Counterclaim behind her that day. The Godolphin filly appeared to have regressed from a promising debut and with this in mind we will take Hieroglyph to confirm the placings today. Tucker's Town is an interesting newcomer from the Sir Michael Stoute yard and in a race as weak as this she has to enter calculations, especially if the market speaks in her favour. Walter Swinburn does well with his runners on the all-weather, so Staying On is another that could go well, but Hieroglyph sets a fair standard and she can put her racecourse experience to good use.
