      Verdict

BISHOPBRIGGS is preferred to Absa Lutte and One More Round in this competitive apprentice handicap to open the card. The selection is in good form and he is back on an attractive mark. He looks ready to take his turn and if he can overcome his high draw then he should take all the beating. Absa Lutte was well backed last time out and she ran well to finish third behind Madame Hoi at this venue. She blew the start that day so if she can get away on level terms she can go close. One More Round is gradually rising in the weights and he looks to have a lot on his plate today. However, he has a good draw and he does have course and distance winning form so he has to be considered. Admiral Bond and Avoca Dancer both went close last time and the draw has been kind to them so they make plenty of each-way appeal. Bishopbriggs looks ready to take his chance and he is the pick.
