        Verdict

        A dire contest where Stephanies Dream is ahead on official ratings and might be good enough, with Peephole and Pix others to consider. The selection and Peephole are both rated 61, though Stephanies Dream is set to carry 9lb less than that opponent, which may well prove decisive. Michael Attwater's filly takes to the polytrack for the first time, so anything is possible and she is no more than a tentative choice. Peephole shouldn't be far away. Peter Makin's gelding returns to a mile after being thrashed over 10 furlongs last time, and if he runs to his usual level of form he could be involved at the finish. Of the others, Pix has ability in the context of this race and can be competitive, but if the handicapper knows anything then Stephanies Dream looks to have the best opportunity at these weights.
