Keith Dalgleish will be keen to build upon a splendid first year in the training ranks and BLOWN IT seems sure to put him in the winner's circle sooner rather than later. The ultra-consistent gelding ran the rejuvenated Jimmy Ryan to threequarters of a length at Lingfield and has gone very well here in the past. The handicapper has left him untouched for that run and he can go one better here. Shawkantango looks an interesting player off the bottom perch and seems a likely scorer in the near future too but the main danger to the selection could be Falasteen. He'll be all the better for blowing away the cobwebs at Southwell on New Year's Day and had some extremely useful form on turf last season.
