        Verdict

        Wild Flower won at Ripon last month but was beaten in one of these lowly events subsequently. Heartsar scored at Bath on her penultimate start but finished nearer last at Beverley recently and a token vote goes to LETHAL BLAST, who posted his best effort so far when fourth at Bath and has more scope than most of these. Secret Identity slips further down the weights while Captain Ryan again finished in front of George Thomas, Teepee Time and Empty Promises here on Friday having beaten that trio when runner-up over track and trip earlier in the month.
