Verdict
A real humdinger of a handicap. Inch Perfect is better known as a hurdler these days but his canny trainer has exploited the fact that he had not raced on the all-weather for over two years. Richard Fahey would not send him here if he had no conceivable chance but there could be a few who are less-exposed in this field. Typhoon Todd finally got off the mark at Southwell. He has a decent jockey on board although the field in that maiden looked decidedly ordinary. Fight The Feeling has done little wrong at Wolverhampton in the past. He has to be respected here as the second in his last race, Gingko, upheld the form with a fair third at Southwell. Glory Quest's recent run over twelve furlongs at Dunstall Park is best ignored. There were few runners on that occasion and the race was not run to suit. We will take our chances with Interstice. He probably does have a few pounds to find on the best of his form at Wolverhampton but he looks to possess the right attitude about the game. Although a tad disappointing at Southwell on Tuesday, it would be no surprise to see him defy the handicapper for a third time. A watching brief is kept upon Star Seventeen and Eight Woods.
